What is Level 3 CERAD?
The purpose of the FAQ Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving is to provide the learner with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to drive an ambulance vehicle in response to an emergency.
This qualification gives the learner the opportunity to:
• Be able to prepare, drive and manoeuvre ambulance vehicles
• Be able to drive an ambulance vehicle in emergency and non-emergency situations

Course Duration:
This is a 4-week course Monday to Friday 0800-1630 with a 1:3 Instructor/Student ratio.
Qualification & Accreditation:
On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive an accredited certificate issued by FutureQuals, which is the preferred qualification within the NHS Ambulance Service.
Progression:
FutureQuals - Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving will support your continual professional development and give you the opportunity to progress to subjects in the same area but at a higher level or requiring more specific knowledge, skills and understanding.
What are the eligibility and entry requirements
1. You must be 19 years of age (or older) and must hold a valid UK driving licence.
2. You must be employed or in the process of gaining employment with an NHS or private ambulance provider that is CQC registered and contracted to provide emergency ambulance provision to the NHS ambulance services.
